Frosty fun!
We have been making the most of the frosty weather recently!
The children noticed that Jack Frost had visited so we decided to go exploring in the garden. We noticed the frost on the ground, leaves, picnic table and bench! We used our fingers to draw in the frost and feel how cold it was! In the outdoor water tray, some of the water had turned to ice and we found leaves and shells trapped inside it!
Indoors, we carried on exploring freezing and melting with blocks of ice and ice poles! The children have used white playdough and silver snowflake sequins, beads and tinsel to decorate snowy models and patterns!
The home corner has been turned into Santa's workshop and sleigh too so the children can take part in some festive role play! Ho Ho Ho!
