The children have loved holding and looking at the chicks this week, watching them grow and change so quickly! 

They have all been taking part in lots of chick related activities too! We've had nest building, where the children have had to think about the different materials they could use to make the best nest! Matching the numbers and spots on 'broken' egg shell puzzles. Moulding playdough with our hands and adding feathers, sticks and googly eyes to look like our chicks! We've used different sized pom poms to print chick pictures with, and then tried another tricky, new technique...printing a fluffy chick using a fork!!!! What a busy week!
